RM36,000 tuition sponsorship to UPSR/PMR/SPM candidates
THP Group of Companies got up close and personal with the young residents in the KLIA vicinity, when 750 primary and secondary school students benefitted from their contribution of RM36,000.
Encik Nur Adlan Taib, General Manager of Corporate Services, TH Properties Group of Companies, presented the cheques of RM24,000 and RM12,000 to SMK KLIA and SRK KLIA respectively, for the benefit of their students who are sitting for the SPM, PMR and UPSR examinations this year.
Officially known as “Educare@Enstek”, this year’s contribution towards the enhancement of education for the children in the vicinity of Bandar Enstek brings the total contribution by TH Properties to RM124,000 since 2009. The programme was inspired by the government’s 1Malaysia campaign tagline, of putting “people first”.
During his speech, Encik Nur Adlan, said, “The objective of today’s Educare@enstek initiative is primarily to uplift the educational excellence among the student population of this area. TH Properties Group of Companies also wants to ensure that the lack of finances do not become an obstacle for these students, and stop them from achieving what they are capable of. It is hoped that this financial aid will serve as a motivation for the beneficiaries to work harder and succeed in their examinations.”
The cheque handover ceremony was part of TH Properties Group of Companies’ efforts to uplift the standard of education in the community of Bandar Enstek and its surrounding areas.
Bandar Enstek, situated in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, is the flagship property project of TH Properties (THP) Group of Companies. In close proximity to KLIA, this fast-maturing township was developed as the first knowledge-based planned community that has attracted notable institutions and industrial investors, such as Akademi Audit Negara, Akademi Kepimpinan Pengajian Tinggi, Cempaka International Ladies’ College, Coca-cola Bottlers Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, and many others. More than 1,000 residents now call Bandar Enstek home.
The financial assistance given by THP Group through Educare@Enstek takes place from March to September every year and is currently allocated to the KLIA Complex primary and secondary schools through their Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG).
